Manufacturing Engineering Magazine
The magazine’s history dates back to 1935, when SME first published it as Tool Engineer. In the 1960s, the magazine was called Tool and Manufacturing Engineer. In the 1970s, it became Manufacturing Engineering and Management. Since 1975, the magazine has been known as Manufacturing Engineering, or as our customers sometimes call us, M.E.

Audio Asset Display Fix: Audio assets now correctly appear in the article cover carousel.
Push Notification Bug Fix: Opening a push notification outside the app now takes you directly to the intended content without extra prompts. 215.0 03/05/2025 This version brings many bug fixes and improvements to the app to continue bringing the best reader experience possible. These include, but are not limited to, the following:

- YouTube embeds are now playable within the article detail view and do not take you out of the app
- While in VoiceOver mode, the cursor will no longer get stuck on scrollbars
- When sharing an asset the URL will be provided instead of the asset name
- Search results will now always show the date posted for an asset
